Hamilton Golf Club offers a variety of membership categories to suit different ages, lifestyles, and playing preferences. Each category provides specific playing rights and access to club facilities, ensuring every member can enjoy the course in a way that suits them.

Ordinary Membership £1196 per annum – currently full / waiting list in place

Joining Fee £500

  • In addition, each member will pay £50 to their Bar Card Account and will pay Golf Union Fees

Weekday Membership £719 per annum – Currently Full/Waiting list in place

Joining Fee £500

  • In addition, each member will pay £50 to their Bar Card Account and will pay Golf Union Fees
  • Play restricted to weekdays until 15:30, and to club competitions played within these times
  • Members in this category are not permitted to play in the Saturday extension
  • Unrestricted access to clubhouse
  • 18 course visitors per annum

6 Day Membership £929 per annum  – currently Full/Waiting List in Place

Joining Fee £500

  • In addition to the above fee, each member will pay £50 to their Bar Card Account and will pay Golf Union Fees
  • Members have access to the course on every day except Saturdays.
  • Members of this category will be allowed to play in the ‘weekend’ medal on Fridays or Sundays, and participate in knock-out competitions as they can play on Sundays (as per the rules of engagement).
  • Members will not be allowed to participate in any specific ‘Saturday only’ competitions, such as Professional’s Day and Visitor’s Day.
  • Unrestricted access to clubhouse
  • 18 course visitors per annum

Corporate Membership £3,500 plus VAT –Availability / Limited to 10 Packages

Corporate Membership gives your staff and clients the chance to enjoy one of the finest golf courses in the central belt. Alongside exceptional golf, members can make full use of our refurbished clubhouse, offering first‑class hospitality for both business and leisure.

  • One weekday four‑ball per week, with two named nominees permitted
  • Discount on food and beverages, plus access to our indoor TrackMan Swing Studio
  • Advertising and networking opportunities with our large membership base
  • Full use of all practice facilities
  • Hire of the Club Room, a private meeting and dining space

  • Qualifying criteria is age attained 75 and 45 years of continuous full/ordinary membership
  • The qualifying criteria must be attained by 31st December to qualify for the next playing year.

Playing Rights and Tee Precedence

Playing rights vary by category and are designed to ensure fair access to the course for all members. The following outlines key principles.

Tee Precedence

The following outlines tee precedence throughout the year.

Ladies’ Precedence

Ladies have precedence on the tee on Tuesdays and Fridays during the following times:

  • 10:00 – 11:30
  • 13:30 – 14:00
  • 17:30 – 19:00
    (Times may vary during early and late season.)

Juniors and Red Tee Members

  • Juniors and Red Tee members may play at any time on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Juniors are not permitted to play on Saturdays before 14:00.
  • Red Tee members are not permitted to play on Saturdays before 16:00.
  • Both groups are restricted from starting on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after 17:30.

Winter Access for Juniors

  • There are no restrictions on Juniors playing the course during the winter.
  • On Saturdays in winter, Juniors may only book a tee time on the day, not in advance.
  • If a Junior is playing with an adult on a Saturday in winter, they may book in advance alongside the adult.

Shared Precedence

  • Juniors share tee precedence with Ladies on Tuesdays and Fridays from 17:30 – 19:00.

Notes

  1. Red Tee members and Juniors may play outwith their allotted times if accompanied by a Full member (Honorary, Life, Ordinary or Youth).
  2. To respect Ladies’ Section precedence, members may not tee off during the 15 minutes prior to 10:00, 13:30 or 17:30 on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  3. From April to September, no four‑ball matches may start between 17:00 and 18:15 on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  4. The course includes all practice areas.

Course Status

Course open. Combination of full and winter greens. Sorry not buggies. Holes 15,16 17 and 18 are closed.
