A left‑to‑right sloping fairway and well‑placed trees make accuracy essential, especially in firm summer conditions. A straight tee shot avoids being blocked out, and the left fairway bunker is very much in play. Driver may not be required. The approach is demanding, with a pot bunker short of the green that must be carried and trouble on the right that gathers errant shots.
