Club History
Hamilton Golf Club was formally established in 1892, when the first office bearers were appointed and the inaugural minutes recorded, marking the beginning of a proud and enduring tradition. Early members, supported by the Hamilton Parks Company, laid strong foundations that shaped the club’s reputation for commitment, community and quality. Over the decades, the club has continued to grow and evolve while maintaining its standing as one of the finest courses in the central belt of Scotland. For a fuller account of the club’s early years and development, the 1992 Centenary Book provides a detailed history.
